Re: nicclee’s question - When I’m unconfident in my improv, I mix it up, do something out of my ordinary. Play with close friends or a team of mine I click with in jams or rehearsals, focus on making confident-looking choices or playing confident characters (even if I don’t feel that way). A big thing is also to do things outside of improv that make me happy. Grab some beers with my friends, see a play, go to my favorite park. Make your heart happy, the improv will fall into place.
